Why We Don’t Like England?

October 24, 2009

Nill James

A perfect reason to hate England! Rooney now is a major doubt for Sunday’s match against Liverpool, why? Well because he picked up an injury training for England!!!! This really bums you out doesnt it? It’s the lads birthday, 24th October, and  he misses out playing against the team he hates the most. Really sad, just like Captain Marvoul, Brayan Robson, everytime he played for England he came back injured.

Once I saw the fixture then the first thing that came to my mind was Wazza’s birthday, and I bet he was looking forward to it too.

Well you just can’t hate England, it’s all of the Internationals you have to hate, Fletcher is a doubt too! Some he might say he’s bigger miss than Rooney, I don’t agree with that. Though Fletcher is a key player, probably our best Midfielder.

Anyways a look ahead at the match on Sunday, We still have a strong squad as Fergie declared Evra & Giggs will be fit. And as for the scousers Torres is fit and Gerrard will face a late fitness test.

Fergie did say he’s feeling confident but insists because of our good form never to underestimate the scousers.(kinda like last season, eh?)

Fergie said in his press confrence

“The United-Liverpool fixture, as I’ve said many times, is without question a massive game,” he said on Friday. “That’s not changed in the 23 years I’ve been here, this is the game.

“We go into the game in decent form, and there is a confidence to our play. But it’s a derby game and anything can happen. Going to Anfield at any time is hard, for both teams. It won’t be any different on Sunday.”

“There’s no doubt that van der Sar back makes a difference. In Moscow, with the experience of Gary Neville, Rio and Nemanja, that was a good solid back four.

“In the last year there have been a lot of changes at the back because of injuries. But last season we went through that period of not losing any goals. Van der Sar kept breaking records – although I’m not sure exactly whose record he beat because I kept hearing about goalkeepers from some Honduran league who’d gone so many more games without conceding!

“Edwin is a fantastic goalkeeper, though. It was interesting recently that Ruud Gullit claimed he is the best goalkeeper in the world. He got no argument from his fellow panellists, and I think his argument is quite right – just look at Edwin’s record over the years, his composure and organisational ability. He does make a difference to us.”

No doubt Liverpool will have an advantage with their Home support, putting up a ‘better atmosphere’ in competetive games. We still will have 5000 travelling fans, and our away support is the best I know! Don’t forget they are expected to take beach balls, Cantona masks and Awesome banners.

Like he said over their, Neville playing good football and Rio’s good form coming alongside namenja Vidic they can stop anyone in their day. So that gives us the hint for the back 4 :Neville Ferdinand Vidic Evra. The midfelild is still unsure we’ll bring you the latest news on Fletcher also on Rooney.
