Why We Don’t Like England?

October 24, 2009

Nill James

A perfect reason to hate England! Rooney now is a major doubt for Sunday’s match against Liverpool, why? Well because he picked up an injury training for England!!!! This really bums you out doesnt it? It’s the lads birthday, 24th October, and  he misses out playing against the team he hates the most. Really sad, just like Captain Marvoul, Brayan Robson, everytime he played for England he came back injured.

Once I saw the fixture then the first thing that came to my mind was Wazza’s birthday, and I bet he was looking forward to it too.

Well you just can’t hate England, it’s all of the Internationals you have to hate, Fletcher is a doubt too! Some he might say he’s bigger miss than Rooney, I don’t agree with that. Though Fletcher is a key player, probably our best Midfielder.

Anyways a look ahead at the match on Sunday, We still have a strong squad as Fergie declared Evra & Giggs will be fit. And as for the scousers Torres is fit and Gerrard will face a late fitness test.

Fergie did say he’s feeling confident but insists because of our good form never to underestimate the scousers.(kinda like last season, eh?)

Fergie said in his press confrence

What A Week!

October 21, 2009

It has been a spectacular week so far for United! Winning their games, but most importantly Chelsea lost to put United back at the top! And liverpool kept on losing and losing, courtesy of a Balloon or should I say a beach ball! Which A liverpool fan threw, a kid to be telling you the truth… Why not read our last post where Ziaul Hassan makes comedy out of it, with an Exclusive interview 😛

Liverpool lost again, 1-2 at home to Lyon, another Big spender in Europe. I can’t believe they were the pundits favorite to win the league, it’s a joke! Them finishing in the top 4 or above Sunderland or Aston Villa will be hard to believe.

It wasn’t the best debut for Liverpool’s new defender, Beach Ball, as he scored an own goal in the 1-0 defeat to Sunderland which means Liverpool have now suffered four defeats already this season and their title bid is all but over. After the game, Beach Ball later admitted that he was at fault for the goal

Match Preview:Manchester United vs Bolton Wanderersie

October 16, 2009

The Premier league is back after a another boring week of Internationals, the only good I saw was Berba getting an hattrick! Rooney got injured, so he will miss the North-west Derby tomorrow. It’s really going to be interesting because though Bolton had a bad start they are giving top teams a hard time. They almost Defeated Liverpool, due to a stupid referee decision, which led to a red card cost them the match. And Also taking the lead twice against Spurs, but giving away goals too let them comeback each time, ended 2-2.

Well some United fans are relieved… Why? Well because Van Der Sar is back! Yes Foster has not been the greatest but at times he was awesome but also. But more often that not he was horrible. Though I think he will end up being United’s number 1, sooner than later.

The most Inform player would be Berbatov with 7 goals in 4 game for Club and country. Owen will be fit, and free thank god his injury was not serious.

Carrick was an unused sub, so he’s available, well most of the squad is available.

This is what Fergie said this morning

Rooney’s out – that’s the one certainty,” the boss said. “We’re doing our best to get him fit for Wednesday but I’ve got my doubts.

“Wayne has a calf injury and they can be troublesome. I certainly hope he’ll be fit for Liverpool [next Sunday] but we won’t be taking any chances in Moscow.”

The manager’s disappointment over Rooney’s absence is tempered by the return of van der Sar, who’s not played a competitive fixture for the Reds since last season’s Champions League final. The goalkeeper, 38, injured his hand in a pre-season friendly but returned for United’s Reserves on 6 October, keeping a clean sheet against Everton.

“Edwin’s fit and he will play,” Sir Alex said. “He’s trained for quite a while now but because it was a hand injury, you don’t take any chances. He had a Reserves game about 10 days ago and came through that fine, it was the confidence booster he needed.”

Michael Owen “will be involved” against Bolton after recovering from the groin injury that curtailed his September start against Wolfsburg. But United will sweat over Darren Fletcher’s availability following the midfielder’s injury while training with Scotland.

“Everyone else is okay,” Sir Alex said. “A few bumps and bruises but nothing seriouse”

Rooney is the last person I would want to be injured when we goto Merseyside, plus that’s the same day as his birthday!

Well Carrick and Fletcher might be at the centre of the midfeild. Anderson and Valencia on the flanks. Rio and Vidic should start, with Rafael back at the bench and O’shea at Right back and Evra left. Berbatov and Owen up forward

Internationals

October 15, 2009

Well Berbatov is probably the most in-form United player at the moment, 7 goals in 4 games for club and country! Tells you everything doesn’t it, he scored a hattrick to make sure Bulgaria win 6-2 over Georgia, but sadly they are still out of S.Africa 2010 as they lost to Cyprus 4-1 before, where he was the only scorer for Bulgaria.

Fergie Says Sorry

October 12, 2009

“I apologise to Mr Wiley for any personal embarrassment that my remarks may have caused and to The FA for going public with my views.

“In retrospect, I accept that this could be deemed as expressing those views in an inappropriate forum.

“It was never my intention to bring the focus of intense media attention on Mr Wiley. I intend to contact him personally after I return from a trip overseas during this international break.

FA To Take A Close Look?

October 5, 2009

By Mick Hasselmore

The Scot lambasted Wiley’s fitness levels after watching his side snatch a dramatic 2-2 draw against Sunderland.

“The pace of the game demanded a referee who was fit. He was not fit. It was ridiculous,” he said.

Ferguson added on Saturday: “I was disappointed with the referee.

“He didn’t add on any time for the goal [United’s equaliser in injury time]. He played four minutes and two seconds. He was also walking up the pitch for the second goal needing a rest.

“You see referees abroad who are as fit as butcher’s dogs. [Alan Wiley] was taking 30 seconds to book a player. He was not fit.”

‘Blatant pen’ was turning point – Allardyce

During the game, Ferguson twice headed towards the touchline during the second half to make his feelings known about decisions made by the officials.

At one point, after he felt Anderson had been denied a penalty, he jabbed his finger at fourth official Mike Dean and then pointed angrily to the pitch.

Allardyce, meanwhile, said he had no choice but to speak out about Walton’s performance on Sunday, saying: “I try not to say too much publicly and say it through the system but unfortunately the system is not working so I have to be heard.

“People may say it is bitter or twisted, but I know I am 100% right because I am very professional in what I do. I research everything and [referees’ chief] Keith Hackett knows I am right.

“I don’t want to detract from Arsenal, but it was blatant.

“That decision wasn’t good enough and it had a major effect on the course of this game.”

The Sun Should Go To Hell

October 2, 2009

The Sun, recently put on their headlines; BERBA: I FAIL. And It was nothing like what he said! He said that he is not happy for not playing good enough to prove the 30Million He cost last season.

Though he did admit 30Million is hard to live up to for a striker like him. I think he is really talented, and stood by him ever since he signed, I waited upto 5 AM at the morning in my time zone to wait to find out if he signed.
